Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Berkowitz: Page 1, line 15: Insert "FURTHER RESOLVED that the Alaska State Legislature supports the $350,000 Fiscal Year 2002 budget request by the Alaska Department of Public Safety for avalanche public education and training, search and rescue equipment, and a pilot avalanche information network study; and be it" Representative Berkowitz moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Bunde objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?"
